Never before has there been a product to come on the market that has given tobacco smokers a real alternative. Before all they had to choose from was one brand of tobacco or another and one strength or flavor or another. The sad thing was that they all still used the tobacco to deliver the nicotine the smoker craved along with the ability to hold a cigarette and smoke it. No lower tar and nicotine tobacco cigarette was not really any better for the smoker to use because they still had to inhale the tar, chemicals and toxic smoke just to get the flavor and nicotine they wanted.

While no one that sells e cigarettes are trying to make consumers believe that using nicotine does not have it own drawbacks, just like alcohol distributors can not deny that too much alcohol will give you liver disease. Using nicotine is one thing, but when it is combined with toxic smoke and all of the other deadly aspects of tobacco smoking, it is made worse than it has to be. This is why so many tobacco smokers are turning to the electronic cigarette to get their nicotine. They are able to have the nicotine, yet remove so many of the harmful aspects of combining it with the tobacco.

Among other reasons that former tobacco smokers have converted to using an electronic cigarette instead of continuing to smoke tobacco is because of some of the social aspects. They do not have to worry about the second hand smoke that the e cigarette gives off because it is not real smoke, but a vapor that disappears almost as quickly as it is seen. The vapor is also odorless so a smoker does not stink up themselves or the space they are in. So many non smokers can not stand the smell of burning tobacco and will really voice their objections to anyone smoking tobacco around them.

E cigarette users also can feel a little better about what they are doing to the environment they live in. The filter portion of the electronic cigarette can be used again and again when it is refilled with nicotine liquid. Of course, they can be disposed of after they are reused a few times, but even then they can be recycled. Since the e cigarette does not have to be lit by fire, it does not create smoke and there is no risk of fire. These might seem like small issues for a lot of people, but when you consider how many tobacco smokers there still are in the world, just the cigarette butt aspect alone is considerable to the environment.

Last, but not least, former tobacco smokers are saving money by using an e cigarette. They can use the product for about half of what it was costing them to burn up cigarette after cigarette. This aspect of the product is much appreciated as well.
